If your alarm didn't ring, please include a screenshot of Settings › Reliability check — it shows what iOS has scheduled and saves us both a round of questions.

Frequently asked

My alarm didn't ring.

Open Settings › Reliability check inside SureWake. It lists every alarm currently scheduled with iOS and whether anything needed repair. If it says alarms are denied, enable them in iOS Settings › SureWake › Alarms. Alarm volume is controlled by iOS in Settings › Sounds & Haptics.

I stopped the alarm with the volume button and it rang again.

That's Wake-Up Check working. Stopping isn't confirming. Confirm in the app within the window, or turn Wake-Up Check off for that alarm.

Can I use my own music?

Not for system alarms. iOS only allows sounds bundled with the app. SureWake ships eight tones in three intensities, and backup rings step up to a stronger one.

Why doesn't it need location for sunrise?

Sunrise is estimated offline from your time zone, typically within 10–30 minutes, and marked with a ~. Turn on "Use my exact location" in Settings if you want it to the minute. Nothing leaves your phone either way.

iOS mentioned "Wireless Data" on first launch. (iPhones sold in mainland China)

That prompt is part of iOS on those devices and is triggered by system components, not by SureWake. SureWake makes no network requests at all. Choosing "Don't Allow" changes nothing.

Does it work on Apple Watch?

Alarms are relayed to the Watch by iOS itself, the same way the Clock app's alarms are. There is no separate Watch app.
